Glendale-based Disney Interactive Studios, the videogame unit of Walt Disney Company, has cut a number of jobs, according to the firm. According to Disney, it made a number of cuts as part of a "restructuring process" for Disney Interactive. No other details were released, however, Variety reported that around 200 employees were affected. No details on the local impact of the cuts was given, however, multiple reports indicate that Disney Interactive's Austin, Texas operations at Junction Point were impacted.
