DogVacay Adds Video Clips To Mobile App

Santa Monica-based DogVacay, the online marketplace which helps dog owners find someone to watch their pet when they are away, has added a brand new feature to its iPhone app. According to DogVacay, it has added the ability to send and receive 15-second videos of pets via its free app, which hosts using the service use to give owners updates on their pets. DogVacay--which has offered up the ability to send photos since it rolled out its app--said the new feature lets hosts capture 15-second video clips of pets and share them with owners, directly from the app. DogVacay said that the photo updates from its hosts have been one of the most popular features of the app.
