Glendale-based DreamWorks Animation SKG and social games maker Zynga announced this morning that the two are in a new promotion, which will tie DreamWorks new Megamind feature film into the popular FarmVille social game. According to the two, the two are collaborating to add a new "Mega-Farm"--run by character Megamind, as a neighbor to all of the 17 million FarmVille game players. The ad campaign will run for 24 hours, and also includes speical items available to users, a "mega-grow" formula to help users grow crops, and other decorative items. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
