E3 Expo Shuts Doors

The E3 Expo--the videogame trade conference that has long been held in Los Angeles--has been permanently cancelled, according to the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). The ESA cited "new opportunities our industry has to reach fans and partners". The E3 Expo had grown at one point to encompass a good chunk of the Los Angeles Convention Center, and was estimated to have millions of dollars of impact to the LA economy.
