Echoecho Raises $750K

Santa Monica- and London-based Echoecho, which is developing a service to provide location information to your friends via a mobile application, announced today that it has raised $750,000 in a seed funding round. The round came from Google Ventures and PROfounders. The firm, which is headed by Nick Bicanic, said that the new funding will go towards product development, hiring, and scaling of operations. The firm said its applications are aimed at helping friends, family members, and colleagues find you on a graphical map, and works with Android, iPhone, Blackberry, and Nokia phones.
