Los Angeles-based EdgeCast,a provider of content delivery network (CDN) services, has expanded in Atlanta, Dallas, and Seattle, according to Internet colocation provider Switch and Data. Switch and Data said Tuesday morning that EdgeCast has expanded into the three new locations. EdgeCast provides media and entertainment customers with rich media distribution, which distributes data to Internet exchanges for faster delivery to end users.
