Elevation Ventures Aims At $50M Fund For Climate Investments

Elevation Ventures, a new venture capital investment fund, disclosed today that it is looking to raised $50M for a new, climate investment fund. The new venture fund is led by Managing Partner Neal Rickner, with General Partners Bill Carpou and Scott Kitcher, plus Venture Partners Rachel Payne and Alex Shoer. The new fund is working with Octane and Sustan SoCal, and says it is looking at Orange County investments focused on "net zero transformation". Rickner was most recently at Octane, and was CEO of Seafire Capital; Carpane is the CEO of Octane; Kitcher is President and CEO of Sustain Socal; Payne was Managing Director, Head of ESG/Impact and Deal Sourcing at FullCycle Climate Partners; and Shoer was co-founder of Seeder Clean Energy, a sustainability and renewable energy services company.
