Embrace.io Raises $2.5M For Mobile Performance Feedback

Los Angeles-based Embrace.io, which is developing software to help provide performance feedback for mobile apps, is announcing this morning that it has raised $2.5M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Eniac Ventures, and also included The Chernin Group, Techstars Ventures and BoxGroup, plus the founders of Burstly / Testflight and Parse. Embrace.io's co-founder and CEO is Eric Futoran. The company says its software is available to developers in limited release today. Embrace.io says its software helps developers diagnose issues that disrupt the mobile experience of users--not just crashes--including when apps freeze, abruptly close, are frustratingly slow to navigate, or the dreaded "endless spinner." Futoran is a co-founder of Scopely. More information »
