    EQAL Rolls New Series


    Los Angeles-based EQAL, the online entertainment firm behind lonelygirl15, said today that it will launch a new online serial drama called "LG15: The Resistance". The new series is based on the firm's prior lonelygirl15 and KateModern dramas, and will be distributed through MySpaceTV, imeem, Veoh, YouTube, and Hulu. According to EQAL, the new series will include short videos and multi-media content, and will run for 12 weeks. Among new features of the series, EQAL said it will include puzzles, audience participation, and interactivity through its LG15 web site, in addition to allowing fans to create their ow profile pages, participate in live chats and forums, and other social networking features. EQAL is known for lonelygirl15, which gained a huge following on YouTube as a teenage girl's video blog, before it was exposed as a fictional creation of EQAL's founders.
