San Diego-based EVOFEM, a firm developing feminine hygiene products, said today that it has raised $25M in a private equity investment. Name of the investor was not disclosed. EVOFEM--which was formerly known as Instead Healthcare--is developing an alternative to feminine pads and tampons, as well as a drug for protecting women from pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.
