Los Angeles-based Factual, the developer of APIs and a dataset of geo-located information about businesses and other locations, said today that it has launched a new API, which aggregates and geo-index third party deals, ads, coupons, and offers. According to Factual, the new Monetize APIs lets developers pull up deals for a business location, from companies like Groupon, LivingSocial, GrubHub, and Signpost. The new API lets developers pull up ads--in image format--for nearby locations, and gives developers a cut of any revenues based on conversions they are driving. In addition to the new API, Factual also said it has also bolstered its dataset, adding another 38 attributes to over 115,000 hotels, motels, and other lodgings in the US. Factual is led by Gil Elbaz.
