Factual Partners with EMC Greenplum

Los Angeles-based Factual has inked a partnership with EMC, as part of EMC's new Grenplus Chorus toolset for data scientist collaboration. According to Factual, its data is available through the Greenplum corus platfor, which will allow data scientists to use data from Factual as part of their own, existing data. Factual operates an online data service, targeted at application developers, to retrieve live data on business locations, restaurants, and other verticals. The firm is venture backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures, along with a number of other high profile investors.
