Costa Mesa-based FileNet and Redwood City-based Decru, owned by NetApp, are in a new deal to provide encryption of documents in FileNet's content management systems. The two companies said that FileNet's F8 platform and Decru DataFort storage security appliances are part of a new combined solution that provides granular encryption of data and lifecycle management for content. FileNet's software helps companies manage their content and documents; Decru's hardware provides encryption of storage data.
