FirstElement Fuel Gets $7.7M For Hydrogen Refueling

Irvine-based FirstElement Fuel, which runs a network of hydrogen refueling stations, says it has received a $7.7M grant from the California Energy Commission. The company said the new funding goes to scale up its manufacturing capacity. The company said it has a manufacturing facility in Santa Ana, which produces high tech components and systems for hydrogen refueling stations, including liquid hydrogen cryopump systems.
