Forbes Names Midas 100

Forbes Magazine has released its Midas list of the top 100 dealmakers in the high tech and life sciences industries. Among the Southern California venture capitalists listed among the top 100 were Jim Armstrong of Clearstone Venture Partners, Brad Jones of Redpoint Ventures, Andrew Senyei of Enterprise Partners, Bill Elkus, also of Clearstone, and James Blair of Domain Associates. The Midas List ranks the individuals in venture capital that have created the most wealth for their investors, and gives the most weight to market capitalization of a venture-backed company at first day of trade or purchase price in an acquisition.
