SpaceX Attempting Launch On Monday Afternoon

Hawthorne-based SpaceX is getting set to launch another Falcon 9 into space this afternoon, from NASA's Kennedy Space Center, with a launch window opening up at 4:21 p.m. PST. The launch of the Inmarsat-5 Flight 4 mission, will launch a commercial communications satellite into geostationary orbit. According to SpaceX, it will not be attempting to launch the Falcon 9's first stage on this launch, due to the mission requirements. SpaceX has a 49 minute launch window for the launch today, with a backup launch window at 4:21 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, May 16th.
