    FunnyorDie Kills Spinoff Site BlueCollarOrDie

FunnyorDie, the Palo Alto- and Los Angeles startup headed by comedian Will Ferrell, is shutting down one of the firm's "or Die" web sites, BlueCollarOrDie, the Hollywood Reporter is reporting this morning. Or Die Networks, the parent company of FunnyOrDie, operates ShredorDie, PwnOrDie, EatDrinkorDie, and until now BlueCollarorDie, all built on the same video publishing platform as FunnyorDie. The shutdown ends a very short history for the site-- BlueCollarOrDie was only launched in February of this year, and renamed KungFuTodd recently. The site featured comedy from Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, and others. FunnyOrDie is venture backed by HBO, Sequoia Capital, and DAG Ventures.
