Pasadena-based Gemstar-TV Guide International (www.gemstartvguide.com) has inked another licensing deal for its interactive program guide patents. The deal with Pioneer Electronics includes rights for digital televisions and digital recorders in North America, Japan and Europe, and includes a per-unit licensing fee plus a one time $14M payment. The deal resolves all outstanding litigation between the companies.
