Gently Adds Spooky Executive Team

Santa Monica-based last-mile logistics startup Gently said this morning that it has expanded its executive team. According to Gently, it has promoted Michelle Saks to Chief Operating Officer; added Peter Yang as Senior Vice President of Business Development; added Ted Kalmbach as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships; and also previously had added Frank Gambish as Senior Vice President of Logistics. Saks was previously a U.S. Foreign Service Officer and CIA Operations Officer; Yang was previously at SpaceX and also involved in counterterrorism and homeland security in National Security; Kalmbach was previously Chief Strategy Officer for an un-named company focused on advanced materials for the space and defense sectors, and also worked with the U.S. Department of State service in Afghanistan and supporting the Pentagon. Gambish was previously serving at Amazon working on logistics.Gently says it is providing same-day fulfillment and delivery for e-commerce and retail brands.
