Gigs Gains $2.7M For Hourly Job Search Service

Los Angeles-based Gigs announced this morning that it has raised $2.7M in a pre-seed funding round, to go towards its platform that helps connect companies with job seekers looking for hourly jobs. According to the company, the funding was led by Slauson & Co and also included Wonder Ventures, as well as angels. The company said it is focusing on helping retailers, food and beverage, logistics, and hospitality companies with their full-time and part-time hiring needs.
