Google Pays $93M To Settle Location Data Lawsuit

Google will pay $93M, but admit no wrongdoing for using people's location data for advertising--despite saying that it would not. Google apparently was logging a users' location history, even if a user had toggled multiple options to limit that location data, and also would turn on tracking if a user ever agreed to "enhance" their Google Maps experience with a popup.
