Gorilla Nation, a Los Angeles-based online advertising representation firm for web sites, said this week that it has signed a deal to represent Freewebs, a UK-based provider of free web page hosting and tools for building personal home pages. According to Gorilla Nation, it will represent Freewebs' international online ad inventory, and certain U.S. market categories. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Separately, the firm has continued to bolster its staff, saying it has hired a director for the firm's ethnic vertical unit and hired new sales staff in London. The firm's new hire for GNMulticultural is Rudy Tabasa, who will head up marketing to African-American and Latino communities.
