Santa Monica-based GotCast is powering a campaign for Maxim Magazine, using its new contest platform, MediaBlastr. The firm is powering the "Maximum Warrior" contest for the magazine, which is looking find readers willing to train on firearm and driving skills, competing against ten special operations veterans. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. The campaign is the first, big win announced for the new offering since its formal launch in May. GotCast had previously been using the platform to power contests for brands such as Sony Playstation, Mercedes-Benz, Dove, NBC, E! and Hautelook. GotCast is headed by Alec Shankman.
