Guidance Software Replaces CEO

Pasadena-based Guidance Software, which develops computers forensics analysis software, said late Thursday that CEO Victor Limongelli, its president and CEO, has departed the company, and also resigned as a member of the company's board. Guidance Software said that Barry Plaga, the company's CFO, has been appointed interim CEO of the company. The reason for the move was not given. Guidance Software said it has kicked off a formal search process for a new CEO.
