Hairdoo Brings Haircuts On Demand To LA

Los Angeles, which appears to be the capital of on-demand, mobile phone driven services (Uber-for-almost anything), has yet another entry into the on-demand personal services market: Hairdoo, a startup which says it can connect users with a haircut as soon as an hour from booking. According to Hairdoo, the service is launching first in Los Angeles, and runs on iOS and will soon be on Android. The company says that, for $45 a haircut, users can book an immediate appoointment with certified barbers and stylists. Hairdoo says its service includes profiles of barbers and stylists, pictures, and reviews from others--and also offers up monthly haircut subscriptions for up to three haircuts per month for $100. Hairdoo says it was founded by Leonardo Colon.
