Carlsbad-based Helixis, a developer of nucleic acid analysis tools, has upped its recent funding round to $7.3M, according to a filing from the firm this week. The funding is a continuation of a $10.0M venture round which the firm has been raising since July. Source of the new funding was not disclosed. Helixis has previously received funding from Advanced Technology Ventures, Domain Associates, and Okapi Venture Capital. Helixis is a spinout of Caltech.
