HeyTutor Names New CEO

Los Angeles-based HeyTutor, which connects people with in-person tutoring, said on Wednesday that it has named Jennifer Sheffield as the company's CEO. Sheffield was previously the company's Chief Administrator Officer (CAO). The company said that Sheffield succeeds interim CEO Ivan Bercovich, who has returned to his role on the Board of Directors. Sheffield was previously a partner at Lane Powell PC in Seattle and served as a legislative aide on the Spokane City Council and as a law clerk for the Washington Attorney General's Office, according to the company.
