Hollar Launches Treasure Hunt To Spur Visits

Los Angeles-based Hollar, the online bargain gifts and products retailer which just pulled in a big $30M funding round, has launched a "treasure hunt" to encourage its users to visit the site more often. The company's "Birthday Treasure Hunt" is peppering items such as Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, kate spade gold watches, and other high value items--at prices well below their retail--among the company's more typical $2 to $10 bargain, dollar-store type inventory. For example, those Beats headphones, which normally cost $200, are going for $10--if you are able to find them fast enough. The company said that treasure hunt--which launched yesterday--only runs through Saturday at 11:59 pm.
