Hulu Launches New Original Programming

Los Angeles-based Hulu said over the weekend that it has launched a new slate of original programming on the site. Hulu said it has launched a new, scripted series called "Battleground", a politics-themed series produced by JD Walsh, Hagai Shaham, and Marc Webb, as well as "Up to Speed" a docu-drama produced by Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused, School of Rock). In addition, the site said it has launched the second season of "A Day in the Life" from Morgan Spurlock, a series which follows the daily lives of well known people. Last season, A Day in the Life followed such people as Sir Richard Branson and will.i.am.
