Inktank Bolsters Exec Team

Los Angeles-based Inktank, the developer of the open source, distributed storage software Ceph, is expanding its executive tem today, saying that it has hired James Duncan as its new CTO, Russell Kojima as VP Professional Services, and Debbie Moynihan as VP Marketing. Duncan joins the company from Joyent, where he was recently CTO, Worldwide Sales. Kojima was previously COO at ForceBrain.com, having also served at Kaltura, hiSoft Technology, IBM, and SugarCRM; and Moynihan was previously at FuseSource, having also served at IONA Technologies and IBM. Inktank is developing massively scalable, open source storage software Ceph, which is part of the Linux kernel.
