Camarillo-based Interlink Electronics said Wednesday afternoon that it has sign a definitive agreement to sell the assets of its OEM Remotes and Branded Products business to SMK Electronics, in a deal worth $11.0M. According to Interlink, the transaction is expected to close August 31st. Interlink said that it will focus its business on e-transactions and speciality components. SMK is a Tokyo-based manufacturer of remote controls.
