Internap Network Services Corp. said yesterday that it is acquiring Irvine-based VitalStream Holding, a provider of content delivery services and streaming media. The deal is worth approximately $217M. Both of the companies provide CDN services to online media properties. The firms said that the transaction is expected to close in Q1 of 2007.
