iolo Turns Eyes To SMB Market

Los Angeles-based iolo technologies, best known for its consumer System Mechanic software for optimizing PC settings, said Thursday that the firm is launching into the small business market with a new version of its product. iolo said its new product, System Mechanic Business, will be offered in bundles of 10, 25, 50, 75, or 100 PC licenses, and sold via its channel and through its own site. The firm said that the software will help those businesses keep their PCs running in "optimal condition," citing use of the product as a way to avoid unnecessary new hardware purchases, to help companies minimize energy use, and to reduce employee stress levels.
