San Diego-based medical device firm Ivera Medical Corporation has snagged a patent license from Becton, Dickenson and Company, the firm said this morning. Ivera announced that it is in an exclusive license agreement with BD, for the worldwide rights to both issued and pending patents held by BD for intraveneous technology for reducing bloodstream infections. Financial terms of the license deal were not disclosed. Ivera Medical develops medical devices for managing and controlling patient infections.
