Ixia Launches New Public Cloud Software
Calabasas-based Ixia, which develops network testing hardware and software, has rolled out a new product specifically aimed at capturing data from public cloud installations. According to the firm, its new CloudLens Public software operates in cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services. The company said the new product enables customers to capture and filter data in the public cloud, in a way that scales with a user's cloud installation. The software will initially launch on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with plans to support Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud in the second half of 2017. Pricing on the new software was not announced.
