Calabasas-based Ixia, a provider of network testing systems, said today that it has launched a new test platform in an ultra-high density chassis. The firm's new Optixia XM2 is used by manufacturers and test engineers to test IP networking. The high density system provides all of Ixia's test capabilities in a smaller form factor, and is fully backward compatible with the firm's existing systems and software.
