Calabasas-based Ixia said this week that it has upgraded its SSL security testing capabilities in its test systems. The company said that its IxLoad Triple Play test product now provides performance gains of more than 300 percent, and that it has also updated its encryption algorithm support. Ixia's test systems are used by hardware manufacturers to test their equipment performance. SSL is the network security protocol used for secure web transactions.
