j2 Global Buys MXSweep

Los Angeles-based j2 Global said very late Tuesday that its FuseMail business has acquried the assets of MXSweep, an Irish provider of email security services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. MXSweep provides email security, archiving, and encryption for SMBs, large corporations, and government agencies. j2 Global said that the buy will help expand FuseMail's footprint across Europe.
