San Diego-based Kalypsys, a drug discovery company focused on developing new medicines for cancer, inflammation, and metabolic diseases, has named a new CEO. Dr. John McKearn, the company's Chief Scientific Officer, has been promoted to CEO. McKearn was previously at Pharmacia, as well as G.D. Searle.
