Kingston Bumps Capacity of microSDHC Cards

Fountain Valley-based flash memory maker Kingston Digital has bumped the capacity of its line of Class 10 microSDHC/microSDXC cards, saying today that it now is offering up a new 256GB capacity card in the memory format. Kingston says it now offers capacities ranging from 16GB to 256GB on the popular Flash memory format, used in digital cameras. The new card handles up to 64,000 21MP images or up to 976 minutes of 1080p, 30 frames per second video. Kingston said the new, higher capacity microSDXC card specifically is aimed at helping consumers moving to high-quality images and 4K content.
