Los Angeles-based LeadPoint, an online lead marketplace which is venture backed by Silicon Valley Bank Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, European Founders Fund, and others, said today that it has made three key hires. According to the firm, it has hired on Gina Anastasi as the firm's Chief Operating Officer; Dr. Ben Zamanzadeh as Vice President of Engineering, and Brian Walby as Vice President of Voice Sales. Anastasi was most recently COO of Rent.com; Zamanzadeh was most recently at Yahoo!; and Walby has been at ClassesUSA/Experian Interactive, and LowerMyBills. LeadPoint operates an online marketplace where companies can buy and sell customer leads.
