Carlsbad-based Life Technologies, which develops genetic analysis and other scientific instruments, said today that it has entered into a partnership with Bristol-Myers Squibb. According to the company, the two will work on companion diagnostics development on an initial project for oncology. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Life Technologies said the deal is the second between the two companies.
