Los Angeles-based Livestrong.com, the online, fitness site run by Demand Media and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, reported Monday that the firm has more than 4.2 million unique monthly visitors and now has over 1.5 million registered users. The site--which features Web 2.0-style content, including social media, user generated content, discussion forums, and more--released the numbers as the firm hit its one year anniversary. Among features that the company said was attracting users was its interactive tool, The Daily Plate, which can be used to track the nutritional intake that users have consumed; related mobile devices for tracking calorie consumption; and forums for setting goals. Livestrong had said in December that it was tracking around 4 million monthly visitors and 650,000 registered visitors.
