Redwood Shores-based Oracle said Tuesday evening that it has acquired Irvine-based LogicalApps, a provider of automated risk and compliance software. Financial terms were not disclosed. Oracle said that it will integrate LogicalApps' real-time policy enforcement software into its Governance, Risk and Compliance application suite. The firm said that the deal is expected to close in November of this year. LogicalApps is venture backed by Mission Ventures and Sequoia Capital, and was founded by Chris Capdevila.
