Conexant Ships High Definition Audio Chip Modem

Newport Beach-based Conexant (www.conexant.com) has shipped a new chip based on Intel's High Definition Audio Bus Architecture. The company's new product uses the HD Audio bus to transmit data between notebooks and desktops and the dial up modem chip.
