Makers Funds Raises $500M For Interactive Entertainment

Makers Fund, a venture capital investor with some presence in Los Angeles, said this week that it has raised $500M in a third fund, which it will invest in interactive entertainment startups. The firm now has over $1 billion in assets. The company has a number of connections to the Los Angeles video gaming industry. Makers Fund said it focuses on early stage investment and invests between $500K to $40M in rounds, with interest in content, VR, AR, and other related areas.
