MamaBear Names CEO

Santa Monica-based MamaBear, which develops a family communications and parenting app, said Monday that it has named Suzanne Horton as the company's new President and CEO. She previously served at Invitation homes (backed by Blackstone), was CEO of BeJane, and also served at JitterBug, Homebuilder.com, and at the venture arm of American Express. MamaBear's parenting app provides a way for parents to keep tabs on their children and their locations, monitoring of childrens' social media, schedule coordination and family communications, and other relateed features.
