March Capital Partners Sets Up Office In Newest, Hip Venue in Austin

Santa Monica-based venture capital investor March Capital Partners has surfaced in what looks to be the downtown Austin's hippest new event venue. Real estate developer World Class and automotive AI and data company Vast launched a new venue, LZR, in downtown Austin today, saying that the new venue will offer up 10,000 square feet of rentable event space, complete with a stage, warehouse, lounge, bar, and landscaped outdoor patio. The new space was formerly La Zona Rosa, a famous music hall that featured Prince as its last act (back in 2013). The only current tenants in the space are Vast and March Capital Partners. March Capital Partners opened up its new office in Austin in July. The building was also Apple Music's 2017 SXSW headquarters. March Capital Partners has been looking for expansion stage investment deals in Austin, where partner Jim Armstrong spent some time when he was at Austin Ventures in the late 90's; Armstrong is an investor in Vast.
