Los Angeles-based MarketShare Partners, a developer of software used to optimize advertising, marketing, and promotions spending by companies, said Wednesday afternoon that it has acquired JovianDATA, a developer of marketing business intelligence and data analytics technology. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. MarketShare said the buy will give it technology to allow it to handle and analyze massive amounts of data volumes at more granular levels and at much greater speed. MarketShare Partners is backed by Elevation Partners.
