Los Angeles-based private equity firm Marlin Equity Partners has acquired Pennsylvania-based Liquent, a developer of software and services for the life sciences industry, from Thomson Reuters. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Liquuent develops information management software for life sciences companies. Marlin has over $1 billion of capital under management.
